Please have carpool cards visible for drop-off as well as pickup.
Need a new sign? You can request replacement or additional car signs by contacting the Main Office.

Carline Rules & Procedures

  • Drivers must drive slowly (speed limit is 10 MPH) in the parking lot.
  • Cell phone use at any point while operating a vehicle on campus is strictly prohibited. Even a moment’s inattention could have serious consequences.
  • Never back up in the carline.

Morning Drop-Off

  • Morning Drop-Off begins at 7:45 AM for all grades.
    If you arrive earlier than 7:45 AM, please park and wait in the Athletic Fields parking lot until 7:45 AM before dropping off your child.
  • Students should be ready to exit the vehicle — shoes tied, backpacks zipped up — before turning into campus.
  • Once students have exited your car, you may pull to the left and head straight to the exit.
    Do NOT pull around someone in front of you to advance to your drop-off location. Instead, please wait patiently.

  • Lower School Drop-Off ends at 8:30 AM.
    Students will be directed to Morning Club (before 8:15 AM) or their classrooms (after 8:15 AM). Classes begin promptly at 8:30 AM.
  • Drop-Off location: White awning of the HAC
  • If you arrive after 8:30 AM, you must park and check-in your child at the Main Building or HAC front desk.

  • Middle School Drop-Off ends at 8:10 AM.
    Students dropped off before 8:10 AM should proceed to the KAC Commons.
  • Drop-Off location: KAC Main Entrance
  • Middle School carline may only be entered via Bennett Memorial Road. Do not enter the Middle
    School carline from the Athletic Fields parking lot on Neal Road.
  • If you arrive after 8:15 AM, you must park and check-in your child at the KAC front desk.

Afternoon Pickup

  • If you arrive before your student’s pickup time, please please park and wait in the Athletic Fields parking lot. Do NOT enter the line early or wait by the school’s entrance.
  • Anyone with alternate dismissal plans (e.g. child walks or rides a bike) should contact Vonetta Odom in the Main Office.
  • Students who have not been picked up ten minutes after the end of their pickup window will be sent to After-School.
    Please note: Families will be charged the full drop-in rate for After-School, regardless of the duration of time their child spends in the program.

  • Your child will be walked to your car. Please do NOT get out of your car.
  • Please pull forward and to the right if you need extra time to buckle.

  • Pick-Up location: White awning between the HAC and the Gym
  • Your child will be walked to your car. Please do NOT get out of your car.

    • 8th Grade: 3:30 PM
  • Pick-Up location: In front of the KAC
  • Middle School carline may only be entered via Bennett Memorial Road. Do not enter the Middle
    School carline from the Athletic Fields parking lot on Neal Road.

  • If you have children in both the Lower and Middle School, you must pick up between 3:20-3:35 PM.
  • Pick-Up location: White awning between the HAC and the Gym
    Your middle schooler will be escorted across the street for afternoon pick-up.

You can still order through the Lunch Calendar as late as 10 AM the day before for a $0.50 fee.

Nope! The payment method on your account will be charged Saturday mornings at the end of the serviced week.

Yay!’s menus are always peanut and shellfish-free, and you’ll find a wide variety of gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegetarian, and vegan options across the menus. However, at this time, Yay! cannot guarantee that kitchens will be 100% free of allergens. We recommend checking all ingredients listed in the item description, and, if helpful, the food partner’s site. Help & How-Tos

FACTS

  1. Go to the FACTS Dashboard
  2. Click Create New Family Portal Account
  3. Enter TDS’ district code: TDS-NC
  4. Enter the email address you used during enrollment and click Create Account.
  5. An email will be sent which includes a link to create your Family Portal login. Click the Click to Create your Family Portal Login link.
    The link is active for 6 hours.
  6. On the page that opens, verify your Name and FACTS Person ID.
  7. Enter a User Name and Password.
  8. Click Save User Name and/or Password.
    A message should display at the top of the browser, “User Name/Password successfully updated.”
  9. You can now log in to your FACTS Dashboard!

  1. Go to the FACTS login page
  2. Enter the District Code: TDS-NC
  3. Enter your Username
    If you do not have a username, please see the guidance on Setting Up Your FACTS Account (above)
    If you have forgotten your username, please contact Emma Farrer
  4. Enter your Password
    If you’ve forgotten your password, click the Forgot Username/Password link and follow the instructions to reset it.
  5. Select the Parent option
  6. Click Log In

  2. Click School on the left side navigation menu
  3. Click Web Forms
  4. Select an item to update
  5. Don’t forget to save your changes!

ParentSquare

Using Web Browser

  1. Go to ParentSquare and log in.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to your name in the upper right.
  3. Select My Account.
  4. Click Notification Settings.
  5. Select Off, Instant, or Digest for each type of notification (Email, Text, App).
  6. Click the X in upper right to return to Home.

Using Web Browser

  1. From Home, select Messages in left sidebar.
  2. The middle column displays active conversations. Click the trash can to delete entire conversation.
  3. Click New Message.
  4. In the Recipients section, enter the first 3 or more letters of the recipient’s name (or their child’s name) and select the intended recipient. Add additional recipients as needed.
  5. If two or more recipients are selected, choose
    Private Message

    or

    Group Message

    .

  6. Type your Message.
  7. (Optional) Click camera icon to attach a photo, or click paper clip icon to attach a file.
  8. Click Send.
    Message will be sent immediately via the recipient’s preferred notification method.

  1. From Home, select Calendar in left sidebar (under the Explore section).
  2. Click Subscribe in the top right. This will add your school, class, and group events to your personal calendar.
  3. Follow your computer’s default calendar application instructions to add the calendar.

  1. To change the application menus to Spanish, click Español in the top menu bar.
  2. To change back, click English.
